AS PART OF THE XACRA COLLECTION, THE RIBEIRA USES A TECHNIQUE THAT DATES BACK TO THE FIRST CENTURY, DURING THE ERA OF THE ROMANS IN HISPANIA
Chalibe is the ancient Roman name for the river Cabe, the undiscovered river that carves the narrowest canyons in the Ribeira Xacra region from where the technique originates.
The pieces are alive and they wear the story of their age. The inside of each piece is coated with a natural pine resin that ages to develop a gorgeous finish over time.
